1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Veterans of the battle of Ia Drang, Vietnam were hosted by Augusta Aviation, Inc. at Daniel Field, Augusta Georgia May 9th 2014 to toured a US Army Chinook Helicopter which landed at Daniel Field during a training mission.
The movie "We Were Soldiers" starring Mel Gibson was based on the battle these war heroes fought.
